The Sweeter Side of Juicing (Juice Recipes Part 2)

Juicing doesn’t have to be all green and veggie juices. Here are my favourite juices that are a little on the sweeter side yet are extremely nutrient-dense.

All recipes make 2-3 generous servings of fresh and lean green juice.

A Very Berry Treat

This is a delicious breakfast juice that is a treat of goodness for the occasional weekend juicer. If you are on a juice fast, this is a great snack juice to satiate your sweet tooth. Nothing spells antioxidants better than B-E-R-R-I-E-S. They are not only delicious, low in calories but also full of anthocyanins (giving berries their deep colour), the antioxidant that helps improve learning and memory.

  • 2 cups of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blackberries
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 3 apples
  • 3 carrots

The Wonder from Down Under

This is probably one of my favourite sweet juices, yet it still contains a ton of celery to add some green goodness to the mix. Kiwis are great for juicing as they contain a lot of water and are rich in Vitamin C, E and Folic Acid.

  • 4 kiwis
  • 1 apple
  • 1 carrot
  • 6 stalks of celery

Carrot Apple Zinger

This is one of my standby breakfast juices during a fast. It’s got a balance of the sweet and savoury and the extra ‘kick’ from the ginger to get me going in the morning. Yum!

  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • 3 carrots
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 2 inch cube of ginger

Happy juicing!
