The journey so far…

Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.

~ André Gide ~

My life so far has been quite unconventional and full of contradictions. At university, I studied Software Engineering with a dual major in Visual Arts. That should have been an indicator for things to come. My consulting career took me all over the US and Canada, but also wreaked havoc on my health. I found myself in a nutritionist’s office, in tears and desperate for answers. My health journey led me to studying nutrition, coaching, mindfulness and leadership. I believe that our jobs and the pace of the modern world is making us sick. Since 2012, I have found my way back into the corporate world in various HR roles and as a consultant, on a mission to make workplaces more humane.

In 2015, I left my hometown Toronto and moved to Dubai to be closer to my parents and brother. I met my husband here and have made a life on this side of the pond. I feel very lucky to have found roles in the UAE that have aligned with my purpose and values.

My favourite activities include curling up with a good book, having cozy catch-ups with close friends, spending time with my family (including the furry members), working out and going for walks when the Dubai weather permits.
